While astrophotography often sends our jaw going down with awe this is extraordinary art: It was created adding serieses of long exposure pictures to a movie, a technique called time lapse photography. As both the camera is moved a bit between shots and also the stars move on the sky over time, a compelling dynamics is created. Watch this movie that shows our milky way in a very dramatic environment:
If you want to learn more about the movie, have a look over here on Randy Halversons site:

Nice one. This would be my first time to see these gorgeous stars.Glad I found your site.Thank you for sharing.
Is this real? My most favorite thing to do at night is go to the roof top of our house and star gazing but I never ever notice such a wonderful sky scene at night just like you had. God is so awesome creating such a wonderful universe! Thanks!
Hi Amie
I can’t take credit for these bautifully shot night scenes – I wish I as a photographer as good but until I am I have to share the work of geniuses like Randy Halverson
